Shillman House Chronicles: Entry #4
































A rock crusher was brought to the site and is crushing mid-sized rocks that will go under the building, driveways and sidewalks.

Progress! The basement subgrade for Shillman House has just been completed. Now the excavator is digging holes where the footings of the building will go.

    Shillman House Chronicles: Entry #3
























    The geothermal wells continue to be drilled. They're going down 1500 feet. The excess dirt from the site is still being removed, with much of it headed to a local farm a mile down the road.

    Meet Dana Marcotte, standing in the Shillman construction trailer. Dana is the Site Supervisor from Dellbrook Construction. He's the 'go-to-guy' for any questions about what's happening at the site.

      Shillman House Chronicles: Entry #2


























      Excavators on the Shillman House site have been busy this past week lifting excess dirt onto trucks so that it can be moved off site.

      Shillman House will have efficient and cost-effective heating and cooling systems, thanks to onsite geothermal wells. Two have been dug...eight more to go!

      Shillman House Chronicles: Entry #1






























      Shillman House construction has begun! The land has been cleared and the construction trailer is on site. By the summer of 2011, the dream will be real. Watch us grow!
